"Sweet Dreams Baby!" is considered by many to be Roy Lichtenstein’s most important early Pop print, and the artist himself called it his first “true” Pop print. With its dynamic, cartoon imagery, the artist created something that appears to be machine-made and mass-produced — In fact, Lichtenstein labored intensely to create that illusion - each Benday dot is meticulously hand drawn!
Yet ANOTHER (sort of) Halloweeny picture! This time, of Violet and Tate from American Horror Story. I wasn’t too interested in their relationship to begin with, they seemed too “Romeo and Juliet”. But then stuff got real and they became one of my favorite couples
